 In place, called La Grande Motte, France, from 27th of June till 2nd of July 2005, 11th Worldchampion ship of rescue dogs was happening. For the first time, a team from Croatia was send to that great event. All people in team were from my Club KOSSP "Zagreb": Ana as team leader, Sara with Gunna's uncle Cap, Tibor with Mav, Tanja with Miska and me and Gunna.
 La Grande Motte was build 40 years before in just one year by architect Jean Balladur. This place has 7000 people in winter and 100 000 in summer.
 There are beautiful sand beaches...
 It all started at Monday: registrations, team meating and all of that stuff. There was lot of details like don't give to dogs a food when practicing with them at stadium, don't be late etc.
 Veterinary check (heart. throat, microchips, dog walking, paws...).
At the opening ceremony, we draw the numbers. All competitors had one discipline per day. Since the weather in that part of France is very hot and sunny, all disciplines were in the morning from 7 till 11 and in the afternoon from 16 till 21 o'clock.
My team was all participating in searching in woods.
 Exactly at 17 afternoon, me and Gunna went to searching, first in line and first of my team. Searching area was 100m wide and 300m long. I had to walk through the middle and send Gunna away. At first half of area, there was few bushes but second half was much more heavier and had a lot of high grass. Also, the send which was covering all the ground was very hot so cooling of dogs through their paws was practically unpossible. That day was the hottest day, the day when the temperature was about 40 degrees. Gunna found first two decoys without any of problem but when she found the third one, she couldn't bark from all that heat and from the exhaustion. After few moments of relax, she was searching again but it was so hot and she looks so exhausted that I gave up by my free will from searching and I started to flush her with one bottle of water I had in my bag. I didn't know that it will be so hot so I hadn't enuogh of water to continue, I would jeopardize Gunnas health if I did. That day, judge changed the rule and said that it's enough to find four decoys, not five. In spite of that, judge said that she is in very good condition beacuse she searched with lot of energy and style.
This was very painfully lession to me because it was factor x which unable Gunna to search. All other of my team took a lot of water with them even it wasn't so hot in following days.
 The next days, temperatures wasn't so hot. I had a lot of bad luck before. Other disciplines were very good with high scores. Obedience was excellent. For example, send out were done perfectly. Judge took 5 points because she didn't stand stay once - she sit. So, we took 45/50 points which was third result at championship.
Next day, she was even more better in dexterity. Gunna was excellent, directability at distance was great and earned a lot of applause. She showed her agility spirit, go like wind to the first obstacle not stopped at the first half of bridge and judge took here two points. Everything other, except that was perfect. We took 48/50 points which was, with few other dogs, first result in championship.
 Last day, we have been in beautiful hotel with that blue swimming pool :-)
It was first competition ever and my team was more then great. At start, nobody knew us, at the end everybody knew. We had first and third place indivudually and first team place!
 Judges were very correct. We recieved very important information from: that we do right and we'll keep it on.
 At aour arrival, our Club colegues prepared to us very happy surprise so we cried a lot. Again. The space was full of good energy.
