SAR team - flight from Lucko - 3rd of April 2005

 As the day before, Zagreb was shone-upon the sun. First flight of our SAR team was arranged 10 days before.

 As you can never be sure where some action can be, we turned about flight socialization for our dogs over and over. We didn't know how dogs will act after the flight; will they be capable for SAR work or not. Their reaction can determine further development of action. Action need, we all know, fast start and fast reactions.

 There were our pilots: my dear friend Mladen Pozgaj and Zeljko Trifunovic. Each flight was going on for a 15 minutes. After long time of searching person and place where we can test our dogs for aeroplane, I found Mladen Pozgaj who did all of that without any reward or pay, so thank to him a lot. Also, I must boast of second pilot: Zeljko Trifunovic. Namely, he is world champion in flight that kind of aeroplane (four-seater). |
 During waiting in line, Gunna was playing with two Mladens grandchildren Leo and Karlo. They was playing tug and war with her amusing themselves and Gunna also :-)

After I "manualy" get Gunna into the plane, she lie-down on me very obedient probabely ask herself what can be worse then that noise. |
 But, after few minutes she became bolder watched around and, in one moment, she even barked :-)

 I was very satisfied with her reactions. Immediately after the flight, she didn't show any of fear or stress.

 That little test shown to me that I can rely upon Gunna in case of that kind of transport. |
