LUN
Lun
is a little male cat miracle who's introduce
me (at least) with beautiful cat world and
he was born 05th March 2002.
At the beginning, this world was uknown
to me and I didn't know what breed do I
really want.
Then, I went to a Cat Show and, after I
almost desist, in hands Mrs's Snjezana Markus
I saw a little ball with a pair of sweet,
deep blue eyes - eyes like a sea.
It was love at first sight! Sacred Birman
is more beautiful than on pictures.
Here, I want to express my very gratitude
to Mrs. Snjezana Markus from whose Catery,
full of love and care, Cherry
Charm, Lun came. Mrs. Snjezana
Markus took a good care of Lun before i
took Lun to his new home of mine (and also
had a big tollerance for me and my repeated
arrivals during Lun's growth ;-)).
Lun is tender and sensitive cat with clearly
interest for everything and is very devoted
to a family. He's like loyal dog captured
in cat body: he responds to his name, follow
me around the house, never scratch anyone
and he's play isn't typically cat play...
He is totally oposit to other Birman cats
wich are very food selected: Lun is greedy
eater and don't get very happy with an empty
pot.
HERE (*.mov file, needed quicktime-1Mb) you can see how Lun "massage" human abdomen. Cats do it when they a very satisfied: it's remaining of mothers breast-feed.
THERE'S
A BEAUTIFUL LEGEND AS TO HOW BIRMANS DEVELOPED
THEY ARE TODAY:
“Originally, the guardians of the Temple
of LaoTsun were yellow-eyed white cats with
long hair. The golden goddess of the temple,
Tsun-Kyan-Kse, had deep blue eyes. The head
priest, Mun-Ha, had as his companion a beautiful
cat named Sinh. One day the temple was attacked
and Mun-Ha was killed. At the moment of
his death, Sinh placed his feet on his master
and faced the goddess. The cats white fur
took on a golden cast, his eyes turned as
blue as the eyes of the goddess, and his
face, legs and tail became the color of
earth. However, his paws, where they touched
the priest, remained white as a symbol of
purity. All the other temple cats became
similarly colored. Seven days later, Sinh
died, taking the soul of Mun-Ha to paradise.”
